4 days ago it was our 3 month travelling aniversary. Since then we've seen and done so much an I couldn't be more grateful. And we still have time to go!
The only downside of this is blogging about the past adventures can become blurry. I still have a pretty decent memory, but I'm sure there are tons of things I forget to write about that I'd like to remember... so to fix a little bit of that, before I tell y'all about our departure from Buenos Aires, let me post some pictures to sum up some general porteño feel.

Statue in front of Teatro Colón, the concert venue with the best acoustic in Latin America. |
Buenos Aires downtown, people out of work and going to do things. |
El Obelisco, our boring monument. What would Dr Freud say about this? |
Tourist shot and some photobombing people. |
A garden of abandoned statues in Palermo. |
In the garden of abandoned statues... dat ass! |
Absolutely random Greek inspired statue with two-headed bull. |
Our biggest national hero, the heroic and slightly pedophilic José de San Martin. Behind him, the wonderful planetarium. |
Chey got obsessed with old trucks. |
Emperor Meow is deeply dissapointe at the Argentinian beer. GIMME SOME GOOD OL' XXXX GOLD, MATE! |
We got to enter the Botanical Garden when it was closed (perks of being a former activist crazy cat lady) and walked around the green solitude. Then we saw another beautiful statue-butt, |
The same Venus statue, front. |
In the Japanese Garden, this bird was exercising Argentina's favorite sport. No, not fútbol, that's what they want you to believe. The true national sport is complaining. |
Elegant cat wears a tuxedo at Recoleta graveyard. |
Buenos Aires essence: beautiful buildings and big crowds of people. |
